Made in the USA

Serapis is a name given to an unconventional, early United States ensign flown from the captured British frigate Serapis.

This is the flag used on board the captured British ship "Serapis" in 1779, Captain John Paul Jones. This ship was captured following the famous sea battle between the "Serapis" and the "Bonhomme Richard" in which the latter's flag staff was blown away; the British Captain asked if Jones had struck his colors; and Jones replied "Struck, Sir? I have not yet begun to fight!"

The Serapis flag is also known as the "Franklin flag" due to the description given by Ambassador Franklin. It was featured on a 33в postage stamp issued in 2000, as a part of the U.S. Postal Service's Stars and Stripes series. The stamp was titled "John Paul Jones flag."

This flag, along with the First Navy Jack, is featured on the crest of the USS John Paul Jones (DDG-53).

All of their patches are amazing

All of the patches at this company makes our of incredible quality and craftsmanship. The sizing is also perfect.
For this specific flag patch, the Serapis flag, I think it may look better with a different border. Otherwise, perfect as always.

Ignorance of are OWN history!

So many have ask me; "What country does that flag represent?". When I explain it's story, some people also ask; "Who is John Paul Jones?". Amazing!!!
But, what can one expect when some people think that the American civil war was fought in the 1930's!?!?!?
